U.S. Bank Cash Visa Signature Card Review

The U.S. Bank Cash+® Visa Signature® Card is a tiered rewards cash back credit card without an annual fee (see rates & fees). Select bonus categories earn up to 5% back and 2% back along with 1% back for non-bonus purchases.

You can redeem your purchase rewards as a credit card statement credit or by depositing into qualifying U.S. Bank checking, savings, more money market accounts. Unfortunately, a $25 minimum balance is required to cash out which is relatively high as many cash back credit cards have no redemption minimum in most cases.

Credit Score Needed

U.S. Bank doesn’t disclose the minimum credit score necessary for the Cash Plus Visa Card or other U.S. Bank credit cards, but suggests that most products require good or excellent credit.

So, you should consider applying with a score between 670 and 850. Typically, waiting to have a score above 700 places you firmly in the good credit score range and can lighten the non-credit application factors such as your income and current monthly expenses.
