Bilt’s August 2023 Rent Day Perks: Status-Based Transfer Bonus
If you’ve been waiting to go on vacation, now can be a good time to book it and go. Bilt has partnered with Virgin Red to offer members the first-ever status-based transfer bonus. However, it will only be available on August 01, 2023.
Depending on your Bilt Status, you can get between 75% and 150% more Virgin Points on August 1st once you transfer your Bilt points. Here’s a guide to what you can expect to get:

*Your bonus will be based on your status as of 8/1. Note that Bilt Mastercard transactions post and Bilt Status updates are reflected up to 96 hours after you make a transaction. Blue members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Bilt Points.
Virgin is part of the SkyTeam (other partners include Delta). You can use your points to fly Virgin Atlantic or one of the other Virgin partners. Additionally, points can be used for a stay at a Virgin Limited Edition resort, for booking Virgin Experiences, and more. Virgin Points don’t expire, so if you want to take part in this bonus but need to wait on the travel, that is also a possibility.
New Game Show ‘Rent Free’
As mentioned above, if you’re new to Bilt and don’t have status, you can still partake in the August 2023 Rent Day perks. Bilt has created a new game show, ‘Rent Free’. In this show, which is based on the Family Feud format, you have the chance to get your rent paid for the month.
Bilt asked 1,000 Members hypothetical questions. If you can correctly guess three of the most popular answers that fellow Bilt Members gave, you’ll be entered to have your rent paid for August. Additionally, Bilt is bringing a guest to play. The better the guest plays, the more rent Bilt will play and the more chances to win (up to 10 winners per month). Comedian and best-selling author Claudia Oshry will be playing this month.
Double Points On August 1st
One perk that is available every month, not just during the August 2023 Rent Day, is the ability for Bilt World Elite Mastercard® members to earn double points on the first of the month. This month is no exception. On August 01, 2023, cardholders can earn:
- 6x points on dining
- 4x points on travel
- 2x points on other spending (excluding rent)
Cardholders can up to 10,000 bonus points. Double points promotion begins at 12:00 am ET on August 01, 2023, through 11:59 pm PT on August 01, 2023. Unfortunately, rent payments only earn 1x points with the card.

Bring A Friend to SoulCycle for Free
Another fun August 2023 Rent Day perk is the ability to bring a friend to one of the 50+ SoulCycle locations in the United States. When members book a Rent Day Ride on August 1st, they can get a second bike for free in the same class. To book, members can visit Soul-Cycle.com, the SoulCycle app, or if they book directly through the Bilt app, they will get 10x points.
Earn Points By Playing Point Quest Trivia
There’s one last August 2023 Rent Day perk to mention. Members can earn extra Bilt points by answering trivia questions in the Point Quest™ game show. The game can be found in the Bilt app only on August 01, 2023. Members can win up to 150 Bilt points when they answer 5 questions. Should they answer all questions correctly, they will get a bonus question that is worth another 100 points.
