Most corporate Twitter accounts are very ‘by the books’ and make sure their interactions with customers and clients can’t get them into trouble or receive any blowback. However, that’s completely the opposite of Ireland’s low-fare airline, Ryanair. O.M.G. do they roast their customers … and none worse than a married couple this past weekend. RELATED: 12 Things in Travel You Need to Know Today

Mark Bowe, a meteorologist from Ireland tweeted, “I’m hitting home runs with flights for my wedding. Off on honeymoon now about to fly into #ibiza for the first time and we just can’t wait to check out the view on the way over… Oh…wait…. Cheers @Ryanair #nowindow #wheresmywindow #someview

As you can see, he tagged the airline, used some snarky hashtags and showed a photo of the happy couple.

I have a feeling Mark regrets tagging Ryanair and I’m sure he wasn’t expecting their jaw-dropping response, which they shared with all of their 700,000+ followers. “She’s regretting marrying someone who can’t read the fine print”

That wasn’t the end of it, either. Someone commented, “LOOOOOOOOL Rynair admin your days are numbered” and Ryanair replied, “like this marriage”

This is neither the first time nor the last that Ryanair has roasted their customers over window seats. One tweet that went viral was when a customer tweeted: “Seriously @Ryanair I paid for the window seat 🫠” and a photo that showed the tiny, 3 inch in diameter window in the middle of the exit row door. Ryanair replied with just a read circle around the window.

Another time, a customer tweeted a similar message as the very first one that Mark sent but it’s been since deleted. However, Ryanair’s reply is still there, which shows one of their workers holding up the app, that clearly states row 11 has no window.

So my advice to you is if you’re flying Ryanair or any carrier, really, to make sure your row has a window seat if that’s what you want. You can look up seating charts on And if you do fly Ryanair, you might not want to call them out on social media unless you’re prepared for the (highly-entertaining) snark.
