Hilarious: EasyJet passenger mistakes two-hour delay for arrival

I wrote a post recently how time seems to fly … except when you’re actually flying. I joked that if you want time to stop, just fly somewhere in coach. It’s even worse when flying a low-fare carrier like Frontier, Spirit, EasyJet or Ryan Air, where there’s very little legroom and they charge you for everything, including a glass of water.

That’s why the internet has really taken to a five-second video on TikTok, in which a passenger falls asleep for two hours just after boarding an EasyJet flight from London, England to Split, Croatia. FYI: The distance from London to Split is 946 miles, which is about a two-hour flight. Typically, every 500 miles equals one hour of flying time.

The video, embedded below, was posted by Fiona Weizman with the caption: “When the sleeping passenger next to us thinks we’ve landed in Split but really you’ve been stuck on the plane with engineering issues for 2hrs & still haven’t left London.” Fiona then wrote, “we found that funnier than he did. Sorry mate, we still haven’t left! ?”
