Father’s Day is on Sunday here in the U.S. and ABC News ran a fantastic travel story last night about a father and daughter duo. RELATED: Father’s Day gift guide for the dad who loves to travel
My wife and I found ourselves holding back tears while watching this sweet two-minute video, probably because I lost my dad last year and Natalie lost her dad 15 years ago.
ABC News posted the video on their Facebook page and TikTok account. Below is the video from Facebook and at the bottom is the video via ABC News’ TikTok, so you choose which platform to watch it on. ABC’s caption on Facebook was: “A surprise at an airport terminal between a father about to retire from his job as a United Airlines mechanic and his daughter, a United captain, had the entire gate cheering at the airport. David Muir shares the special moment – just in time for Father’s Day.”
