If you’ve been a longtime reader, then you probably know my back story and all about the fear of flying that plagued my early years. But after conquering my fear of flying and even leaving the house, I caught the travel bug. Big time. The only problem was I couldn’t afford to pay for my newfound addiction so I had to figure out ways to fund it. The easiest way was to work for a company in a job that involved traveling (check) and then signing up to every loyalty program available (check). That was followed by researching credit card sign-up bonuses and loyalty promotions.
In the past week, there have been two promotions, both of which need to be on your radar since they’re no-brainers and take just two minutes of your time.
Hilton Honors Multiply Your Points Promotion
The first one is Hilton Honors Multiply Your Points Promotion. From September 6 to December 31, 2023, Hilton Honors (HH) is offering the Multiply Your Points global promotion where members can earn 2X Points when they stay at any Hilton property, and 3X Points in select destinations like New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and more. American Airlines Donate to Stand Up To Cancer
The other promotion is not free but it’s for a good cause and an easy way to top up your American Airlines AAdvantage account by donating to Stand Up To Cancer. If you have an American Airlines AAdvantage Mastercard credit card, you’ll earn 50 bonus American Airlines AAdvantage miles for every dollar you give when you use that credit card to make a donation online between $25 and $10,000.
For those who don’t have that card, you still can earn 25 bonus miles. The campaign ends on 9/30/23 or when qualifying donations reach the $3,000,000 total donation max, whichever comes first. That means you better do it today before it’s gone. I just donated $100 to earn 5,000 miles and to support a great cause since my mom died of cancer in year 2000.
