Use Bilt Points to Book Hotels with Awayz

Bilt members can research hotel prices worldwide on Awayz. This hotel search engine researches award availability for up to 12 months. You can preview the current cash price or the number of points needed for a hotel reward night.

This service can also make recommendations at Hyatt and IHG properties based on your current rewards balance. It will send alerts when it finds good deals for your desired destination or redemption range.

Awayz typically costs up to $11.99 per month for individual subscriptions, but you can use it for 50 free searches per month to redeem Bilt points for hotels.

Additional Bilt Points Redemption Options

Along with booking hotels through Awayz, your points are worth 1.25 cents through the Bilt App. Additionally, you can transfer Bilt points to airlines and hotels for a potentially higher redemption value.

The loyalty program recently announced a cash statement credit redemption option in addition to rent payments, mortgage down payments, and home decor. This flexibility is one of the best Bilt World Elite Mastercard benefits.

The Points Guy Names Bilt Points As Most Valuable (Tied With Chase Ultimate Rewards®)

The many travel redemption options help make Bilt Rewards tie for first place as the most valuable credit card points. A study conducted by The Points Guy (TPG) values Bilt Points at 2.05 cents, on average. You can get this above-average redemption value by transferring points to participating airlines as much as possible.

It’s also easy to earn rewards points as dining purchases earn 3x points, travel bookings earn 2x, and non-bonus spending, including rent payments (up to 100,000 points in a calendar year on rent) earns 1x points. Additionally, earn double points on the first day of each month for most non-rent purchases. However, you must use the card 5 times each statement period to earn points (Learn more about the Rewards and Benefits).
