Earlier this week, I wrote about two easy ways to earn more miles and hotel points this month. It involved donating miles to StepUp2Cancer and Hilton Hotels. Speaking of miles, I just learned of another deal, which is almost as easy and involves spending a whole lot less money. Delta Air Lines and Starbucks have teamed up so frequent fliers and caffeine addicts can earn Delta SkyMiles. RELATED: Do Delta SkyMiles Expire? The Answer May Surprise You
According to T+L, “You can now earn 1,000 Delta bonus miles just for buying Starbucks twice in one week. That’s about as many miles as you’d earn for flying from New York to Florida.”
Users just need to link their Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards accounts. “Once linked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with more details on how to enroll in the offer. Make sure you’re opted-into SkyMiles Partner Offers with Delta (Login > Profile > Preferences) to receive exclusive offers and opportunities in the future.”
Benefits include:
-Double Stars on all qualifying Starbucks purchases on a day that you take a Delta flight
-1 Mile per eligible $1* spent at Starbucks at participating Starbucks stores
Note: it excludes taxes and gratuities.
Good to know:
“Qualifying purchases are purchases of food, beverages or merchandise at participating Starbucks stores, excluding purchases of alcoholic beverages and Starbucks Cards. To find the location nearest you that participates in Starbucks Rewards, visit the Starbucks Store Locator.”
Like the other two promotions, this is a limited-time offer so enroll by September 12.
