There’s a video (embedded below) making the rounds on social media, of a man at the beach shaving his legs. That’s right. Shaving his legs at the beach. The account that posted the video captioned it what we’re all thinking: “I have so many questions😅”

Along with the rest of the internet, I have a lot of questions and comments too. Here are some of the comments posted on the video:
Pressley: What in the World😳😳😳
Kelsey: Thats so disgusting. Shaving creates micro abrasions and hes rubbing dirty water and dirty sand with lord knows what bacteria all into those tiny cuts… 🤮
Krista Lea: I’m from the coast and shaving a few hours before the beach is rough. Saltwater burns. To do it fresh AT THE BEACH is wild!
Olipop0bcessi0n: Okay DO NOT Do this. For the same reason you don’t shave before a pedicure: Bacteria. I remember one time I couldn’t get in the ocean on vacation bc I had a cut and the water had tested pos for staph
Sunny: My mom use to shave on the beach and then use the sand to exfoliate 😭 but she always did it in the early morning before people came out to set up
BlazeyFace143: Humans are so self-centered and disgustingly inconsiderate🤬 gross dude.
I can’t fathom what this man was thinking but to shave your legs, not only at the beach but in the water, is disgusting. The only thing that could make this somewhat justifiable is what @Jakepslade said in his comment: “It’s a way of dealing with a jellyfish sting to shave the stingers of the affected area.”
Let’s hope that’s the case but if this ever happens to you, go to the restroom and shave or better yet, head back to your hotel so you don’t become the unsuspecting subject of a viral video.
