Use whiteout to mark your black bagsEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Sandy G., who says:

“Since many suitcases are black, I used liquid whiteout to write my initials on different sides of my suitcase including the bottom. This way when the suitcase comes out the conveyor belt, I can easily identify it when I see my initials in white.”

Thanks, Sandy!

I do the same except I use a silver Sharpie (fine tip). It is very helpful when waiting for your luggage.

We used red duct tape to put our initials on the bags
