I love reading about people finding their passions. This week’s featured Instagrammer, Sara Shakeel, was a Pakistani dentist based in Islamabad not long ago. Now, she’s an artist with over 500,000 followers who makes “digitally-altered images jazzed up in crystals and diamonds,” including one of an Emirates 777 that has the media buzzing.
Gulf News wrote last week that “By adding glitter to just about anything, from a Starbucks cup to a piece of burger, or the New York skyline, Shakeel turns the mundane into extraordinary and get her followers mesmerized.” Shakeel is fun to follow and no doubt a rising star—or should I say diamond?
