One of the funniest and cutest videos I’ve seen on Threads has a caption that reads: “When a service dog sits in front of you on a plane.”

The person seated in the row behind must’ve taken a series of photos of the dog throughout the flight and put them together in a montage. It’s hilarious and I’m not the only one who agrees, which you will see in the comments below.

One thing that isn’t clear is which airline or route it’s taking. The only real clue is there’s a package of Walkers Crisps – Prawn Cocktail, which are from Britain, and a bottle of Evian, so I’m guessing it’s an intra-European flight.

Dog on a plane.@pshimamoto30: If they’d filmed that dog the entire flight, they’d have a 4-part TV series that would be the most popular series of all time. That is BY FAR the greatest video I’ve ever seen.

@vickib_columbusoh: Happiest thing I’ve seen today. Go ahead, pet that tongue.

@pixonthefly: Very cute and entertaining, but a properly trained service dog would never do that…

@michsoledesign: This is my favorite post on Threads of all time.

@onlythatmoon: I was on ten airplanes last year and this didn’t happen to me once. So disappointing.

@pam_yanson: This never gets old. I have seen these photos and his face is hilarious. So adorable.

As someone pointed out, this probably isn’t a service dog because they wouldn’t behave like this, so it’s probably an emotional support animal (ESA). However, in Europe, ESAs are generally not recognized as service animals by most airlines, so the dog might’ve been on a US carrier. What’s your guess and would you want this cute dog sitting in front of you on a flight?
