Two months ago, Southwest Airlines made a major announcement: they’re ending their iconic “two bags fly free” policy and introducing a new Basic Economy fare. Starting May 28, flight changes will no longer be allowed, and flight credits will have an expiration date. You can find all the key details here.

Many travel experts, myself included, were concerned that these changes (and others), might impact employee morale, especially among Southwest’s famously friendly and fun flight attendants. I still think we’ll see that shift over time, but for now, some of their best are clearly still bringing the energy onboard. Just check out the videos below.

As you can see, this flight attendant is really going above and beyond with the safety announcements on a flight to Sacramento. Sure, some passengers probably just want to zone out or sleep, but I think this is a great way to grab everyone’s attention for an important briefing.
