I just returned from getting lost in the Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar. One of the more interesting finds were these dyed chicks. They looked cool but I’m not sure how humane it is — what do you think?

Well, let’s see…chicks aren’t exactly native to the desert, let alone, green, blue, orange or pink.

Did you find out how they do it? And why? I can’t believe those chicks are still alive! It really depends if the process hurts the chicks but I can’t imagine it being too comfortable.

I can’t imagine that being the least bit good for them.
