I’ve stayed in a handful of these hotels and have heard of some of the others. But the list surprises me since most of the hotels are on the western half of the country. I just can’t believe they don’t have any in the northeast. I’ve stayed at a number of hotels I felt were haunted, especially the old Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. It’s since been knocked down and rebuilt and I didn’t get the sense of it being haunted the last time I stayed there, but you can read more about Ocean House here.

I’m also surprised Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego didn’t make the list. The US Grant did, which I have stayed at but it didn’t give me any creepy vibes. How about you? Do you agree wit this list? If not, which hotel do you think should have made the list? Leave a comment!
The most haunted hotel I ever stayed at was in the countryside of England. Here’s the story.
The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, MI – definitely haunted!!! I got this very uneasy feeling while staying there 2 months ago. Also I was awoken to by bed shaking side to side. I’ve never been afraid to go to sleep, except at this hotel. The long, old hallways don’t help either. We saw shadows under the door out to the hallway, opened the door and no one was there.
