Here’s a quick video (screenshot above) from Business Insider‘s Tech Insider team that doesn’t require your sound be turned on, as it’s captioned. It does a good job explaining why planes are sprayed down in wintry weather. I learned that wings are heated in the air, too, to avoid ice buildup while in the air. Check it out!
