Expect Record Traffic and Lines Today
According to AAA, this Fourth of July weekend was expected to see a record number of travelers. Nearly 43 million Americans were expected to hit the roads and skies thanks to low airfares and gas prices—about a 2.6% increase from last year! Of course, that means you should expect heavier traffic and longer security lines, so my advice is to hit the road before the afternoon/evening crush today and/or show up to the airport extra early. If you miss your flight, it’s not going to be easy to get on another. On the flip side, today could also be a good time to try and get bumped to make some extra travel cash. Here’s how to do that.

Happy Fourth!
