Great news for Southwest Airlines (SWA) flyers. The original low-fare carrier just began allowing their flights to show up on Google Flights. Plus, they have an incredible offer that seems too good to be true until you read the fine print.

Loyal Southwest fans know that the original low-fare carrier has done everything they can to block third-party search engines from displaying their airfares. In doing so, customers were forced to book tickets on But SWA is testing out a pilot program, which should be a win-win for everyone.

Southwest said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure: “In our initial piloting of this partnership, we’ve made it possible for Google Flights users to compare our different fare options and click directly into to book their selected itinerary.”

This should be a no-brainer as Southwest will most likely get more business and consumers don’t have to keep remembering to look for SWA deals on their website. It will make it much easier for consumers to compare and track fares.
