Get to know the hotel shower before you hop inEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Benita, who left the following comment on last week’s airplane lavatory tip:

“Make sure you know how the controls and the flow work before stepping into a bathtub or shower. If you’re in the midst of a shower, and a hot stream comes through, you can easily change the water flow. I’ve been nearly burned a few times.”

Good advice! Thanks, Benita!
