PlasticwareEach Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Randy C. of Beaumont, TX, who says:

“Bring a package or two of the plasticware and napkin that are included with a to-go restaurant order. These are useful to finish a ‘doggy-bag’ entree or eat yogurt, etc. in your hotel room.”

A simple and good idea. Thanks, Randy!

This is a great idea! I like to travel with Rick Steves’ Picnic set – it has a set of Sturdy utensils, for 2, plus a cork screw all in handy container. It is light weight and easily packed away and for $10, a great bargain. Available here: https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/travel-picnic-set
