2017-instagramInstagram continues to be a major source of travel inspiration. Feed your sense of adventure and wanderlust by following these 17 travel Instagram accounts in 2017. You’ll discover new destinations and maybe even get ideas to plan your next getaway. And until then, who couldn’t use a virtual vacation? Here are some of my favorite travel Instagram accounts:

1. The TSA
The TSA Instagram account often combines humor with helpful tips to make sure your bags are packed according to TSA regulations. Not sure if you can fly with a pie? This is just one of the many pressing concerns they’ll address for passengers!

Click on the link in our profile to read a blog post on this subject. ***UPDATE*** After watching a YouTube video posted by the traveler, we’ve learned that he’s a popular YouTuber and this was a stunt to see if he could get the giant bear on the plane. He even made up a backstory that the bear was a gift for his girlfriend. The bear did not belong to a child. The passenger had actually bought a ticket for the bear. After the airline and TSA decided the bear was too large, the airline offered to refund the ticket and the traveler was given the option of checking the bear as checked baggage. The traveler opted not to check the bear and left it behind.*** Why does this gigantic teddy bear look so sad? He was abandoned by his owners at LAX after the airline and TSA determined that he was just too big to be screened as a carry-on and taken on the plane. It’s a good idea to check with your airline prior to traveling with overly large items as cary-ons. If you see this wayward bear strolling the streets of LA, please feel free to feed him. #TSATravelTips

@FransLanting “The Ivory Game” I’m on my way to the Southern Ocean and we'll share more about the amazing wildlife we'll encounter there, but today we want to draw your attention to an important new documentary that is available to view now on Netflix. “ The Ivory Game,” produced by @LeonardoDiCaprio, is a hard-hitting exposé that goes inside the illegal ivory trade to put Africa’s elephant poaching crisis back on the global agenda. Right now, the fate of Africa's elephants depends too much on the efforts of courageous individuals and small embattled groups scattered across the globe. They can’t do it without more support. We all have to raise our voices and get engaged. Organizations that support the elephant cause in a big way include the World Wildlife Fund, Wild Aid, and Save The Elephants. Please check their websites, check out the DiCaprio film and spread the word. I made this elephant image in Botswana, which is one of the few countries in the world where elephants have found a safe haven and are doing well, thanks to the leadership of the Botswana government. Stay tuned for more images and stories from us. @natgeo @natgeotravel @natgeocreative @thephotosociety @LeonardoDiCaprio #TheIvoryGame #Elephants #Botswana #PoachingCrisis #Ivory #SaveTheElephants #wild_net #WorldWildlife #WildAid

Follow @triphackr for more aerial and drone photography from around the world. This is one of my favorite shots from the Caribbean on @triphackr ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Guadeloupe is part of the French West Indies and made up of 5 islands. I didn't know what to expect before arriving but so far I'm really enjoying it. I've only visited 2/5 islands so far but plan to see visit the others this week as well as nearby neighbors Dominica and Martinique. The ferry schedule here makes it a great home base to explore the Lesser Antilles. If you have any recommendations let me know! Follow me on my personal @clintcam for more pics!
