Here are the technical details:
Two (2) roundtrip Economy Class South African Airways tickets valid from New York (JFK) or Washington (IAD) to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth or East London, South Africa. Each passenger will be responsible for applicable travel taxes and fuel surcharges (currently approx. $580 p.p., depending on itinerary). Actual retail value of the prize: $3,200.
The tickets are subject to promotional seat availability and the following blackout periods, when travel is prohibited: 01 July – 15 August & 10 December – 15 January. Once issued, prize letter and tickets are non-transferable. A change fee of $250 per tecket is applicable once tickets have been issued. EXPIRATION DATE: 28 February, 2014
after days of trying, I finally was able to get 4/5 entries. My facebook entry won’t register even if I UNLIKE then LIKE again. The error message is “This field is required.” I have cleared my cache and temp files. Still, no luck. I even went to the link you posted above.

You are correct that the entry form will not recognize that you follow, and unfortunately the form is what we use to randomly pick a winner. I have asked Promosimple why they require some of the terms on the Twitter App. I was told that all of that wording is from Twitter, and they have no control over it, but Promosimple assured me that they would never access a user’s direct messages and will never send a Tweet without being initiated by the user clicking on a Tweet button. Not sure if that assuages your concerns, but I thought I would pass it along. And thanks for Pinning!
I subscribed to your newsletter, followed on Twitter, like on Facebook, and tweeted on Twitter(GiveAwayCity), and there is now where to show where I did these things. Just a box that shows how many days left to enter and how many entries, and my entries so far and it still shows zero……..hummmm

Sorry you’re having issues, there are a couple things you can try to do to address the problem. If you did not use the widget above to enter your contact info and follow Johnny on social media, that is what you have to do to enter. After you enter your contact info a second window will appear in that box to confirm your liking/following. Alternatively, you can try clearing your recent cookies and reload the page or try a separate e-mail address in the contact info. I hope one of these things helps!

I just get errors from PromoSimple when I try to show I follow on Twitter.
We recommend that you clear your cache and try reloading the page. Alternatively, if you are running ad blocking software, sometimes this will disrupt widgets, etc. Try turning that off and reloading the page.
I went to Johannasburg in 1985 on business and my wife wants me to take her. Great chance with your contest.
