Last week, we gave away two round-trip tickets on Qatar Airways — congratulations to Ryan G. of Albuquerque, NM who won! We want to make more dream trips come true, so we will be giving away a lot more trips throughout the year.

Iceland To kick it off, we are excited to announce a chance to win two tickets to Reykjavik, Iceland courtesy of Icelandair.

Located in the North Atlantic Ocean, Iceland is filled with arctic desert plateaus, sandy deltas, volcanoes, lava fields, glaciers, and waterfalls. That’s why they call it the Land of Fire and Ice. I’ve been twice, and it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world. And it’s surprisingly convenient, only 5 hours away from New York/Boston/Washington DC.

Just sign up for my newsletter and use the form below to enter. Then follow me on Facebook and Twitter and be entered two more times. You can also choose to follow Icelandair on Twitter and Tweet about the contest for additional entries. That means you have FIVE chances to win! What are you waiting for? The contest ends on February 6th, so enter now! If you are already subscribed or following me, just check the boxes to enter.

Note: It’s IMPORTANT that you actually sign up for the newsletter, a few people didn’t on the last contest and we had to disqualify them.

*Applicable airport taxes, official charges and fuel surcharges, determined by destination and payable by you are approximately $399-$669 per person, including the September 11th Security Fee. Travel must be completed by Feb 15, 2014 (no exceptions/no extensions apply). Flights are subject to availability at the time of reservations, which must be no more than 60 days prior to departure date. Boarding pass with seat assignment will be issued at airport check-in.

Not many people in upstate NY are dreaming of a trip to Iceland in the middle of January, but I sure am! I’m never been there, and would love to go. Thank you for the chance!

Hi. I’m following and I liked but it’s not recognizing it. I don’t want to authorize an app that may tweet for me, but you can verify @2brno2b is following both you and Icelandair.

      Hi Elizabeth,

Because we are using this widget to help facilitate the contest, we cannot offer your the additional entries unless you authorize the application. I would recommend looking at Twitters terms of service if you have concerns. Thank you.

I cannot get the entry for “Liking” Johnny Jet’s facebook page. I liked the page and authorized the app. It still shows only 4 contest entries.

Never mind, the “Like” button popped up and I got my fifth entry.

I have heard so many great things about Iceland… and to also have Johnny recommend the destination just bumped it to the top 3 on my list. Fingers crossed.

This would be a dream! We just started saving for our next vacation and the destination choice we made was Iceland! It looks like such an amazing country! I’ve filled Pinterest boards with so many gorgeous images to get inspired!

Something’s wrong with the PromoSimple app you are using. When I tried to follow IcelandAir’s Twitter feed through it, I get this error message: “There was an error while following the account. Please retry.” I did retry several times, to no avail. But I had no problem following the same IcelandAir feed by simply going to it manually. So I AM following, but I’m not getting credit for that entry.

      Hi Deacon,

Thank you for pointing this out. We have taken care of this problem and it should work for you now. Please use the widget to follow @Icelandair (it will work even if you already follow them) and you will receive the additional entry.
