This 16-minute video by an English bloke who makes YouTube videos under the handle “Abroad in Japan” offers a good look at a $3,000 Japanese hotel room—specifically in Sendai, Japan.
Note: A presidential suite in Tokyo would be much more expensive. What I like about this video is that it gives you a feel for Japan’s countryside, which sadly most American travelers don’t get to visit. I’ve been to Japan a few times but only once did I make it out to the country.
