Card members can enjoy complimentary access to the US Open American Express Fan Experience at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center throughout the tournament. This area is located near the East Gate and across from Louis Armstrong Stadium. Additionally, it is open from August 28, 2023, through September 10, 2023.
Tennis fans can partake in the following activities:
- Play the mixed-reality Glow Tennis game
- Contribute to an interactive, live mural experience with illustrator Vero Escalante
- Cool-down cryotherapy from Kollectiv
- Collect digital collectibles (NFTs) designed by Escalante (one new NFT per week)
Card Member Lounge
The second floor of the Fan Experience includes a Card Member Lounge which includes the following amenities:
- Ralph Lauren’s Create Your Own kiosk
- Espresso martinis from Lavazza
- Frozen Grey Goose Honey Deuces
- Therabody massage therapy
- Sneaker cleaning services from Jason Markk
Centurion Lounge
A pop-up Centurion Lounge is available to The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express members. It celebrates the Centurion Lounge® Network’s 10-year anniversary. This lounge is located on the second floor of the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Card members can request waitlist access in person at the tournaments.
Lounge amenities include curated dishes and cocktails.
Guests can also receive unique travel recommendations, create a personalized passport cover, and discover their travel personality at an immersive American Express Travel activation inside the lounge.
The Centurion Lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport will also celebrate the tournament with in-lounge activations. Special perks at the airport lounges include a photo opportunity, a travel persona quiz, and tennis-themed giveaways.

Additionally, select cardholders can receive $10 back after spending $100 or more at participating merchants on tournament grounds.

The checkout-free experience is re-opening and will promote Shop Small® with local New York City merchants. Additionally, for the first time ever, the marketplace is selling exclusive US Open Tennis Championship merchandise.
Break the Love Pickleball
American Express is continuing its partnership with Break the Love to offer expansive access to tennis and pickleball during the championships in the New York City area.
From August 23, 2023, until September 24, 2023, Amex card members have complimentary access to 10,000 court reservations at 500 tennis and pickleball courts around greater New York.
Coming off of popular demand from last year’s initial partnership, complimentary clinics are also available during this timeframe. Participants can enjoy group tennis instruction along with racket demonstrations with Wilson at select courts.
