I’m sailing through Portugal’s Douro Valley this week on a Viking river cruise, and I have to tell you there are parts of this area that have to be ranked among the nicest in the whole world. The first cam features “views of Ribeira do Porto, Douro River and across to the city of Vila Nova de Gaia. In the background is the Monastery (Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar) and the fine bridges D.
