Time for Status Challenges
If you currently have elite status with a particular airline or hotel chain and you’re not happy with their service and want to switch brands, now’s the time to do so. Why? Because your current elite status will most likely expire on March 1 and while you still have it, you want to use that status to get other companies to match it. If your travel patterns have changed—or if you’re just bored with your airline or hotel chain—now’s the time to request a status match or status challenge from a competitor. Here’s how.
