I’m not a huge fan of zoos but I can understand why some people are. If you’re one of them: CNN recently ran an article on zoo safety that I think is important to share, especially in the wake of some perilous zoo incidents that took place this year. For me, the most important takeaway from the piece is the tip to keep your children close to you and not let them tease the animals. Another is geared towards adults: “Don’t dangle for a better angle.” The fences are there for a reason, so respect them. Here’s the full article.
