There is good news for American Express Centurion Lounge members with free time at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This is because the San Francisco Centurion Lounge is open again. It is double the size it used to be. It also offers several favorite NorCal-inspired perks.

Where is the San Francisco Centurion Lounge?

You can find this luxury airport lounge on the mezzanine level in Terminal 3, post-security, adjacent to gate F1/F2. You can also easily access this lounge from International Terminal G.

Its operating hours are from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm daily.

You will need to have a premium travel credit card such as The Platinum Card® from American Express to gain complimentary access. This lounge is part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection.

Select Delta SkyMiles Credit Cards can also gain complimentary or discounted access.

It’s worth pointing out that this is the only lounge not in partnership with a particular airline to start 2023. For instance, there isn’t a standalone Priority Pass lounge spot at SFO.

  • Two custom floor-to-ceiling wall coverings
  • Private workspaces

Other Centurion Lounge Openings

The SFO Centurion Lounge opening is a good way to start 2023. Additionally, the network has other exciting news.

For instance, a brand-new location is opening at Washington D.C.’s Reagan National Airport (DCA) in 2023.

In 2024, passengers going through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL) can stop by the Centurion Lounge when it opens. Additionally, the Atlanta lounge will be the network’s biggest location to date.

Summary

In conclusion, the Centurion lounge network continues to dazzle with its San Francisco expansion. The extra space and the locally-inspired dining and wine options are compelling reasons to visit. Another incentive is this is the only proprietary lounge not affiliated with a specific airline.
