NY-EuropeThanks to a thread posted on FlyerTalk.com I found a deal from New York (Newark) to Norway (Oslo) for only $483 round trip! And that includes all taxes. In fact, the fare is only $53 each way. The deal is on United Airlines and I found it for December 5-9 (see above screenshot).

I needed to book a ticket home from Europe on Dec 1 and everything one way of course is thru the roof and my normal budget carrier Norwegian Air does not have any non-stops to LAX on that date. I just booked a RT Oslo to LAX on Air France for $513! One stop in Paris De Gaulle and I get all the amenities of course.. Dec 1 to LAX, Feb 11 back to Europe so in case I want to use it for a mini jaunt Presidents Day weekend I can do so. I’ll simply book a one way on Norwegian for cheap at that point in time.. The sale is still ongoing I’d say!

On a side note, this sale seems to be Oslo and Stockholm only.. I looked at ever other European city and everything is very pricy except for Oslo and Stockholm it seems.. Air France for $20 will let you lock in the fare and then fgive you a week to tohink about it and then pay.. For a fare this cheap, it seems worth the investment in case a few more days are needed to confirm plans or days off work or whatnot..
