I think the new designs look terrible.

Will the new Citi Prestige card design also be made out of metal?

    1. Johnny Jet Editorial|

I don’t believe the release mentions it being a metal card.

  3. Jereth|

Wow! If they go back to plastic, being a premium card, I may end up cancelling it. Not to mention all the benefits that have been lost/downgraded in the past two years. I will request a new card on 05/14/2021 and will post my thoughts. If anyone happen to get their hands on the new Citi Prestige card design, please feel free to share.

I would assume they would keep it the same. But like you said, they have already given it a haircut on benefits. And I’ve seen other banks downgrade from metal already. Keep us posted!

  4. Jereth|

I finally got my hands on the new Citi Prestige credit card design. I can confirm it is made out of metal and weighs the same as the older card (17 grams). To be honest I’m not as disappointed as I thought I was going to be. I still think Citi could have done a much better job creating a premium, modern, and minimalist looking card design.

Good to hear. Thanks for the data point!
