In case you missed it, last week we rounded up 10 free things you can do while quarantining at home. There are many other ways to pass the time, of course (please share your suggestions in the comments here!), some of which involve learning a new skill. Or honing one you already have. Well, here’s a great way to spend time that many travelers might be excited about…

Camera giant Nikon is offering free photography classes through April 30 via Nikon School Online. The ten classes are available as on-demand videos running from 15 minutes to over an hour each. Per Lonely Planet, they “cover topics such as photographing pets and children, shooting landscapes, recording video and more.” And that’s not all. In addition to the free photography classes offered through Nikon School Online, Nikon has also opened up its Nikon Live archive, making of hours of additional content, including conversations with National Geographic photographers, free as well.

Here are a few of the free Nikon Live options that could be of particular interest to travelers:

  • “My Defining Images” with National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry (in the Creators Hour section) from yesterday
  • “My Defining Images” with world-renowned photographer and Nikon Ambassador Joe McNally (available in the Creative Hour section tomorrow)
  • “My Defining Images” with National Geographic conservation photographer and Nikon Ambassador Ami Vitale (available in the Creative Hour section on Wednesday, April 22)
  • “My Defining Images” with Nikon Ambassador and action photographer/director Corey Rich (available in the Creative Hour section on Wednesday, April 29)
