Delta passengers are now allowed free messaging over Wi-Fi aboard all Gogo-enabled flights. According to this Clark article, the practice began yesterday. To take advantage, you must use iMessage, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp and send text only, as photos and videos are not supported. Just head to Delta’s Wi-Fi portal page—airborne.gogoinflight.com—on your next flight. (And to see if your flight will be Gogo-equipped, try FlightAware.)
