Last week I wrote a story titled American Airlines Passenger Bumped From First Class—Turns Out It Was for President Biden. It turned out to be one of my most popular posts, so I thought I would write an update.
On June 28, a Minneapolis passenger tweeted that American Airlines had bumped her husband out of first class for an unknown government official. Once she boarded the plane, she updated her post to say that person was none other than former President of the United States, Joe Biden.
The woman appears to have been won over by the former President, because she later wrote, “American Airlines is woke AF but Joe Biden signed my daughter’s birthday card so I guess it’s okay he bumped my husband out of first class.”
What’s awesome is that her husband commented on my post, saying, “I’m the guy who was bumped. My wife stayed in first class and interacted with Mr Biden. She is truly grateful for how gracious he was. And my daughter is overwhelmed by the blessing he wrote in her card.”
We now know exactly what the former President wrote, and the touching message brought my wife to tears.
Christina Algozine wrote in a public Facebook post:
“President Joe Biden signed my birthday card! He was very gracious to my mom, who was flying to Dublin for my birthday trip. The airline had bumped my stepdad from his seat for an unnamed government official. At first she was a little miffed, but all was made clear when Secret Service shuffled in and the former POTUS sat down.
Mr Biden was reading a book about Ireland, and my mom let him know where she was headed and why. She then thought to ask him if he would be willing to sign my card, and he was happy to do so.
“May the roses rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”
Thank you, Joe! We will keep the faith.”
She also posted a picture of President Biden signing the card, her reading it and a photo of the inscription.
As always, President Biden was a class act and represents with dignity not only the office, but Americans.

Poor planning on Biden’s part should not disturb a regular citizen. There is nothing charming about this story.
Kindness, thoughtfulness, and grace. Biden is a truly good human being. Even his political opponents have admitted that for decades.
Nothing is mentioned about the former Prez’s Secret Service detail. If he is on the plane, there is a minimum of two SS guards. Where were the SS individuals seated? Further more, the Prez doesn’t decide, on an emergency basis, he needs to fly at that moment of time on that specific airline. Another example of the average citizen being “bullied” and bumped from his seat for another individual. The airline should of have informed the Prez that all the 1st class seats are full and paid-for. To coach you go!
President Biden has always been a gentleman. I miss the compassion and professionalism that prevailed in his administration. He was respected throughout the world and unselfishly gave his life to this country. I was proud of my country when President Biden was in office.
“President Biden was a class act and represents with dignity not only the office, but Americans”. What a joke! Biden and his corrupt cronies have nearly totally ruined the United State. He was a demented class clown who let others including communist Obama pull his strings. Even the contrast on the writing of this greeting card looks like two different people wrote the message since he didn’t have an AutoPen handy!
