Here is a quick overview of the changes to the Prime Visa:

  • More bonus categories: Earn up to 5% back on more purchase types
  • New name: The cards are now the Prime Visa (Prime members only) and Amazon Visa (non-Prime members)
  • New card designs: Both products offer a refreshed card design
  • Limited-time signup bonus: New Prime Visa applicants can receive a $150 Amazon gift card and earn 5% back on all purchases (up to $2,500) during the first three months. This means you can earn up to $275 with this limited-time offer.

New Amazon Prime Visa Rewards Categories

The Prime Visa now earns bonus rewards on two additional purchase categories:

  • New: 5% back on purchases made through Chase Travel
  • New: 2% back on local transit, commuting, and rideshare
  • 5% back at Amazon and Whole Foods Market
  • 2% back at restaurants and gas stations
  • 1% back on all other purchases
