JAL to serve KFC onboard

From December 1, 2012 to February 28, 2013 Japan Airlines (JAL) will be serving Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) onboard select international flights. They are calling those AIR KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN.

Customers in Premium Economy and Economy Class on JAL from Narita to New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, London, Paris and Frankfurt, will get KFC’s Original Recipe two-piece chicken meal during the second meal service.

The meal includes one drumstick, one boneless chicken breast fillet and a piece of flat bread made especially for AIR KENTUCKY. There’s also a cup of coleslaw and lettuce leaves so customers can create a sandwich.

Did you know: KFC is hugely popular in Japan especially around the Christmas holiday.

Would you be happy or bummed to be get KFC onboard a flight? Should U.S. Airlines follow suit?
