Photographer Tim Gaylord explored four cities in Belgium in four days. This is his photographic journey.

ALL PHOTO GALLERIES: Brussels | Mechelen | Ghent | Bruges

Ghent is only a 30-minute train ride away from Brussels and is on the line from Brussels to Bruges and the coast. If you’re planning to visit Bruges and Brussels, definitely stop over in Ghent as well. It’s fantastic! Certainly plan to stay at The Marriott Hotel which is situated on the Lys river and walking distance to just about everything worth seeing in Ghent. And be sure to walk the illuminated streets at night.
